MATERIALS	A lectern on which is placed an Artist’s Book made of black Canson cardboard and also bound in black. On the inside pages there are forty ambiguous words, written in Spanish with silver marker. A transparent glass of (1.53×0.50)m and 0.5cm thick (autobiographical measurements). On it appear written some dates, also autobiographical, related to the subject of the work, joined by arrow signs, both made with silver permanent marker. A sieve, inside which are mint, pennyroyal and green tea (also autobiographical references). Covering this sieve is a glass with the illegible graphics of the author’s name, also in silver permanent marker.
CONCEPT	Summary piece of the performance made by the author at the Thou Festival in Äalborg, delving into the memory of an encounter with herself.
HISTORY	This work is a historical piece by Concha Jerez, since it is the summary of the first public performance made by the author in 1984 in Äalborg (Denmark) at the Thou Art Festival. The elements that make it up – except for the sieve that was added just after, when it became a piece – were the elements that made up the installation on which this performance was made.
EXHIBITIONS	In 1986 it was presented for the first time as a piece in a solo exhibition “FRACCIONES DEL TIEMPO” by Concha Jerez. In 1996 it was presented at the Museo de Bellas Artes in Santander in a solo exhibition “INTERFERENCIAS” by Concha Jerez. In 1999 it was presented in the Trayecto Gallery as part of an Installation on which a performance was being developed. In 2001 it was presented at the Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea in Donosti/San Sebastian as part of the exhibition “DEL LUGAR AL NO LUGAR” by the author. In 2020 it was presented at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía MNCARS, as part of Concha Jerez’s exhibition “QUE NOS ROBAN LA MEMORIA”.
