CONCEPT This work focuses on the concept of the limit of everyday life, which is stated in the title of the piece and which is based on the exercise of everyday life in everyday tasks such as cooking.Here, it deals with other contents of cooking.
EXHIBITIONS In 1987 the frying pan was integrated with its contents in the author’s exhibition at the Evelio Gayubo Gallery in Valladolid. In the same year the frying pan with its content was also used as part of the atmosphere created by the author for the performance “IN QUOTIDIANITATIS MEMORIAM” held in Hall K18 in Kassel as a parallel activity to Documenta 8 in Kassel.

The piece in its current configuration was presented at the stand of the Shüppenhauer Gallery in Cologne, at ARCO.

In 2020 it will be presented at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía MNCARS, as part of Concha Jerez’s solo exhibition entitled “QUE NOS ROBAN LA MEMORIA”.

OTHER INFORMATION In successive years (both in the eighties and in the nineties and two thousand), the author has used the action of cooking with broken glass with illegible writings initiated with this piece in various performances by adding many other elements.
