MATERIALS
Five rusty iron strips that came from an industrial scrapyard in Avilés.
Five translucent crystals of the same size with an interchangeable work, in black, from the structure of the first page of Papeles de Plástica, which was published by the Casa de Cultura de Avilés on the occasion of the exhibition in the Sala.
CONCEPT
EXHIBITIONS This piece was created as part of the In Situ Installation that, with the theme MUROS, the author made in the Exhibition Hall of the Casa de Cultura in Avilés in March 1986.
The piece as it is today, and with the same title, appeared as part of the Installation.
It was later exhibited in 1988, in Madrid at the Galería Ángel Romero; and in 1996,  in Concha Jerez’s solo exhibition entitled INTERFERENCIAS at the Museo de Bellas Artes in Santander.In 2020 it is presented at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía MNCARS, as part of Concha Jerez’s individual exhibition entitled “Que nos roban la Memoria”.
